This fund supports a wide range of development programs designed to enhance sustainable agricultural practices, improve farmers' livelihoods, uplifting farmers’ economic stability and protect the environment.
The initiative focuses on multiple key areas including subsidized agricultural inputs such as high-quality planting materials, recommended fertilizers, essential equipment & tools like hand tools, tiller & weeding machines, solar irrigation pumps and equipping farmers with modern agricultural skills through capacity-building workshops on sustainable medicinal plant cultivation, proper soil management, and pest & disease control.
It also includes boosting productivity by installing or upgrading small-scale irrigation systems to ensure consistent water supply minimizing drought impacts. Installation of dryers, sun drying beds, raw material washing yards and storage for identified farmer associations will encourage farmers to diversify their crops by leveraging dryer availability while minimizing post-harvest losses and improving raw material quality.
Additionally, farmers and their family members will receive health and wellness support through medical camps, periodic health check-ups and educational scholarships. Recognized top performers based on criteria such as yield, product quality, and sustainable practices will be rewarded & appraised motivating and retain high-performing farmers and attracting the next generation to agriculture.
Border crop cultivation & utilize farmer owned under-utilized lands for cultivating identified risky perennials will be aimed at developing forests which sustain long term agricultural success while generating extra income for farmers and enhancing biodiversity.
Buy back system for purchasing raw materials from farmers will ensure access to correct inputs, technical support & sustainable farming by reducing waste through guaranteed purchases
Farmers will be trained & encourage for sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices including organic cultivation methods, enhancing soil health, reducing chemical dependency and crop rotation practices.
A structured monitoring system with regular assessments, feedback collection, and transparent reporting ensures continuous improvement.
